Printing tips

  • Use an existing LED light only in lanterns and houses, never a flame: PLA softens at about 60 °C.
  • Pieces that slot, snap or turn have a Fit clearance setting. Print one small part first if you are unsure about your printer.
  • The 3MF has one part per color group, not per piece: a part such as Layers or Rings can hold several loose pieces. To spread a big kit over plates, separate the loose pieces in your slicer and check that text, trim and berries stay on the piece they sit on. The parts ZIP has one STL per part.
  • The tree, wreath and light frame have a Print bed size setting: they are split over plates of your bed, and you download one plate at a time.
