About this generator

A way to give money that looks like a present. Roll each note tightly, push it into a sleeve and the tree carries them like decorations. The sleeves are open all the way through, so short and long rolls both fit.

How to use

  1. Roll one note and measure the roll; set Roll diameter to that size.
  2. Choose how many sleeves and the tree height, and type your greeting.
  3. Print the tree flat (sleeves up) and the base standing up. The 3MF has tree, sleeves, base and greeting as separate colors.
  4. Slide the trunk tab into the slot in the base, then push the rolled notes into the sleeves.

Printing tips

  • If rolls slide out, lower Fit clearance or roll the notes a little looser.
  • Gold or silver for the sleeves looks like baubles on the tree.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the roll diameter?

Roll a note around a pencil, let it spring open a little and measure across. Around 10 to 14 mm is common.

Do the notes get damaged?

No glue or clamps are involved: the roll just sits in an open sleeve.
