Plain privacy notes for Printaro Tools

What we process

• The tool you choose and the settings needed to generate your model.
• The generated file, such as an STL or 3MF.
• Basic technical request data needed to run the site and protect it from abuse.

Generated files

Generated files are stored temporarily so you can download them and so repeated identical exports can use a cache instead of rendering the same model again. Files expire and are deleted automatically after a short time.

No accounts

We do not ask you to create an account. The public site does not have user profiles, passwords or customer records.

Abuse protection

Rendering models costs server CPU, so the service uses rate limits, queue limits and temporary counters. The admin dashboard uses shortened hashed client identifiers for monitoring. It is designed not to show raw IP addresses, secrets or the full text of user-entered model settings.

Cookies, analytics and visitor counts

Printaro Tools itself sets no cookies. The Google services described below can set their own. Your browser only remembers two choices of your own, and they are never sent to us: that you closed a message, and whether you picked the light or dark theme. To see how many people use the site and which tools are popular, every page tells our server which page is open: once when it opens and every 30 seconds while it is visible.

• We receive the page address without its settings, and once per visit the name of the site you came from.
• You are counted under a code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so you can't be followed from one day to the next. The IP address itself is not stored.
• We count roughly where visits come from: the country and city that our network provider (Cloudflare) works out from your IP address, rounded to about 10 km. It is never an address, and it is not linked to anything else about you.
• Only totals are kept: "online now" for about a minute, hourly counts for 8 days.
• With Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control switched on in your browser, our own visitor heartbeat is not sent.

The site also uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic and popular pages. It is configured with IP anonymization and without Google signals or ad-personalization signals. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is switched on, the Google Analytics tag is not initialized. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart.

Advertising cookies

Printaro Tools uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site and to other sites.

• You can switch off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. To opt out of personalized ads from other vendors, visit aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
• Where required, advertising cookies are only used after consent is handled by Google's advertising and consent tools.

Advertising and affiliate links

Besides Google AdSense ads, Printaro Tools may include clearly marked affiliate links to relevant 3D printing products such as printers, filament, build plates and accessories. These links help keep the tools free. We do not place ads inside the model editor, export form or download flow where they would get in the way of using the tool.

Use at your own risk

Check every model before printing and before using it. You are responsible for print settings, material choice and whether a printed part is safe for your use case. Do not use generated parts for safety-critical purposes unless you have properly tested and validated them yourself.
