About this generator
Icicles look best in a group of different lengths. This makes the whole set at once: the lengths step evenly from the shortest to the longest, and every other one can twist the other way.
How to use
- Choose how many icicles you want and the shortest and longest length.
- Pick the section and how far they twist.
- Download and print the set standing up, thick end on the bed.
- Thread a thread or ornament hook through the hole in each collar.
Printing tips
- The tips get thin. Slow down or print a few at once so each layer can cool.
- Translucent or clear PETG and PLA catch the light like ice.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the hanging hole at the bottom of the print?
Each icicle prints on its thick end, so the collar with the hole is at the bottom on the bed. Turn it over to hang it: the hole is then at the top.
Are the tips sharp?
The tip ends in a small rounded point, at least 1.6 mm across. It is still a thin, pointed decoration.
