About this generator

Every house uses the same wall thickness, floor height and roof pitch, so houses made with different settings still look like one village. Lift the roof off to reach inside. Use an existing LED light only, never a flame.

How to use

  1. Set the width, depth and number of floors, and pick a roof and a window style.
  2. With LED on, measure your LED tealight's diameter: the house gets an open bottom and must be wide enough inside.
  3. Print the body and the roof standing up, as exported.
  4. Switch the LED on, put the house over it and set the roof on the lip on top.

Printing tips

  • Window tops are short bridges; arched or round windows print without them.
  • Make each house with a different roof or width for a varied street.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a candle?

No. Use an existing LED light only. Do not use a flame.

Why does the roof have a plate at the bottom?

The plate has an opening that fits round the lip on top of the walls, so the roof sits centred and lifts off easily.
