About this generator

One module holds a few drawers; stack modules for the whole of December. Each drawer is sized for what you want to put in it, its number is on the front, and the drawers slide into compartments with a clearance all round.

How to use

  1. Set the inside size of a drawer, and the columns and rows of one module.
  2. For 24 days with 2 × 3 drawers, print four modules with the presets module 1 to 4 (start numbers 1, 7, 13 and 19).
  3. Print the cabinet standing up and the drawers open side up. The 3MF has the numbers as a separate color.
  4. Slide the drawers in, in number order, and stack the modules on their pegs.

Printing tips

  • The compartment ceilings are short bridges; print them with cooling on.
  • If a drawer is tight, raise Fit clearance for the next module.

Frequently asked questions

Why not one big cabinet with 24 drawers?

Twenty-four drawers of a useful size don't fit on most printer beds. Modules print one at a time and stack.

Can I write a name on it?

Yes: the name is engraved into the top, so it shows on the top module and stacking still works.
