About this generator

One home for every screen in the house: phone in front, tablet behind it, laptop at the back.

How to use

  1. Measure the thickness of each device in its case.
  2. Type the slot widths in order, front to back.
  3. Set the width of the dock.
  4. Print it as it stands.

Printing tips

  • No supports.
  • Stick felt pads or thin foam in the slots if you worry about scratches.
  • A wider dock is steadier for a laptop: use 180 mm or more.

Frequently asked questions

Will a laptop stay upright?

Yes, closed, in a slot 1 mm wider than the laptop and at least 25 mm deep. Give the dock enough width.

Can I charge the devices in it?

The channel under the slots lets cables through to the front, so a device can stand on its plug or next to it.
