About this generator
Measure your cable with calipers, enter the diameter and get a clip that snaps on securely. Add more cables to route several wires side by side.
How to use
- Measure the cable diameter and enter it.
- Choose how many cables the clip holds.
- Pick screw holes or a flat back for double-sided tape.
- Generate the STL and print it lying on its side, as exported.
Printing tips
- Print the clip as exported (on its side) so the snap arms bend along the layers instead of breaking.
- PETG is tougher than PLA for clips that are opened often.
Helpful guides
Part of a project
- Tidy the cables on your desk: Clips, channels and labels that get cables off the floor and out of sight.
Frequently asked questions
The clip is too tight or too loose. What should I change?
Increase the snap opening for an easier fit or decrease it for a firmer hold. The clearance setting adds play around the cable.
Screw or adhesive?
Screws hold best on wood. Use adhesive on walls, desks and furniture where you don't want holes: strong double-sided tape such as VHB works well.
