About this generator

Each block is printed at a different temperature: pick the one with the best surface, overhang and bridge.

How to use

  1. Set the temperature range and step.
  2. In your slicer, change the temperature at the start of each block (1 mm base + block height × n).
  3. Compare blocks and pick the best.

Printing tips

  • OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer can add per-height temperature changes.
  • Print the tower with the filament you want to tune.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I change the temperature?

The tower has a 1 mm base, then one block per temperature, hottest at the bottom. Change the temperature at 1 mm plus a multiple of the block height. OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer let you add these changes per height.

How do I pick the best temperature?

Choose the block with clean overhangs, a straight bridge and the least stringing.
