About this generator

Every printer prints holes a bit smaller than designed. This test shows exactly how much clearance yours needs.

How to use

  1. Print the plate and the peg.
  2. Try the peg in each hole, starting with the smallest gap.
  3. The first hole where it slides in smoothly is your clearance.

Printing tips

  • Print at your normal settings: the result is only valid for those.
  • Test both round and square: holes and corners behave differently.
