About this generator

Print one swatch per spool and keep them on a ring: you see the real color, finish and translucency before you choose a filament.

How to use

  1. Enter the material and color name.
  2. Add brand and temperatures if you like.
  3. Print with that filament as STL, or choose 3MF to print the text in a second color.

Printing tips

  • Engraved text reads best on swatches.
  • The thickness steps show how translucent the filament is at 0.2–1.0 mm.

Frequently asked questions

Why engraved text?

Engraved text stays flat, so swatches stack neatly on a ring.

What are the thickness steps for?

They show how translucent the filament is at 0.2 to 1.0 mm, which helps when you choose a color for lamps or light effects.

Can the text have its own color?

Yes. Pick a text color and download the 3MF: the text is a separate part, so Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer print it with a second filament. Engraved text is filled flush, raised text sits on top.
