About this generator

A side-mounted spool pulls the filament at an angle. The guide straightens it out before the extruder.

How to use

  1. Pick the profile and arm length.
  2. Print flat.
  3. Fix it to the frame with an M5 screw and a T-nut, then thread the filament through the loop or tube.

Printing tips

  • PETG: the loop stays smooth longer.
  • The slot gives a few millimeters of play to line it up.

Frequently asked questions

Loop or PTFE tube?

The loop is simplest. A PTFE tube from the guide to the extruder gives the smoothest path for flexible filaments.

Which screw do I need?

An M5 screw of about 10 mm and a T-nut that fits your profile.
