About this generator
The same spiral as a sunflower, wrapped round a ball.
How to use
- Set the diameter and the number of windows.
- Print it standing on its flat.
- Remove any supports from inside through the windows.
Printing tips
- The bottom of a ball overhangs. Print with a brim, and with supports that touch the bed only; they come out through the windows.
- TPU makes a ball that bounces and survives a dog. PLA makes an ornament.
- More, smaller windows print more cleanly than a few big ones.

Does it need supports?
A little, under the lowest part. The windows near the top bridge on their own if they are not too large.
Why is the spacing so even?
Each window is turned by the golden angle, about 137.5°, from the one before. No two windows ever line up, which spreads them evenly.
