About this generator

Build a run from a handful of block types. The groove drops 4 mm across each block, so set out each next block 4 mm lower (or stack them).

How to use

  1. Print a start block, then straights and curves in steps of 4 mm lower, and an end block.
  2. Put a drop block on top of any straight or curve: the marble falls into the groove below.
  3. Keep the same marble and block size for all blocks.

Printing tips

  • Blocks print upright without supports.
  • 16 mm glass marbles are the standard size.

Frequently asked questions

How do the blocks connect?

Line them up on the table. Each next block should be 4 mm lower than the one before, because the groove drops 4 mm per block.

Which marbles fit?

16 mm glass marbles are the standard. Set Marble diameter if yours are different.
