About this generator
Measure movement and range without a tape measure: a short stick for close moves, a long one for shooting.
How to use
- Pick inches or centimeters and the length.
- Print flat. Use the 3MF to print the marks in a second color.
- Measure from one end: the end of the stick is zero.
Printing tips
- PLA is fine.
- Print a set: 1", 2", 3", 6" and 12" cover most games.
- A 12" ruler is 305 mm long: check that it fits your bed, diagonally if needed.

Is it accurate?
The length is exact in the model. Most printers are within a few tenths of a millimeter, which is far less than the play of a hand on the table.
Can I print it in one color?
Yes. The marks are 0.6 mm raised, so they stay visible in one color too.
