About this generator
A one-piece box with a real hinge: nothing to assemble, no screws, no glue.
How to use
- Set the inside size of the box and the lid.
- Print as exported, both halves open side up.
- Flex the hinge gently to free it, then fold the lid over until the clasp clicks.
Printing tips
- Use a brim only on the outer edges, never across the hinge.
- PETG makes the clasp last longer than PLA.
- For two colors, use the 3MF: the box and lid are separate objects.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to assemble the hinge?
No. The hinge prints in place: the box and lid come off the bed already connected. Don't put a brim across the hinge.
The hinge is stuck after printing.
Gently bend the lid back and forth a few times to free it. If it stays stuck, raise Hinge clearance by 0.05–0.1 mm for the next print.
