About this generator
The classic 15-puzzle, printed in place. Shuffle by sliding, then put the tiles back in order.
How to use
- Pick the grid (3x3 is easy, 5x5 is hard) and the tile size.
- Print as one piece. Don't use a brim.
- Free each tile with a gentle push, then slide them around.
Printing tips
- Calibrate first: the gap between tiles is only 0.35 mm by default. Run the tolerance test if tiles fuse.
- Use the 3MF for labels in a second color.

Frequently asked questions
The tiles are fused together.
The gap is small, so calibrate your printer first. Run the Tolerance Test and raise Gap if tiles fuse.
How do I get the tiles out?
You don't: the tiles are captive. They hook under each other, so they slide but don't fall out.
