About this generator

A name plate that looks like it is in motion. The letters stand on a tilted face and sweep back to the base.

How to use

  1. Type one or two lines and pick a font.
  2. Set the letter height. The plate gets as wide as the longest line, so check it fits your printer.
  3. Choose the face angle and the sweep depth.
  4. Download the 3MF for a second color on the letter faces, or the STL for one color.

Printing tips

  • Print as it stands in the preview. No supports are needed up to a 55° face angle.
  • Bold fonts and letters of 12 mm or more give sturdy walls.
  • Thin strokes (script fonts, small letters) can wobble while printing. Slow down the outer walls if they do.

Frequently asked questions

How wide will it be?

As wide as the longest line plus the base margin. The size shows next to the preview. Lower the letter height or shorten the text if it does not fit.

Can I print it in one color?

Yes. Download the STL. The sweep gives the letters plenty of depth on its own.
