- Print the cells and the drip tray.
- Fill with seed compost, sow, water from below by filling the drip tray.
Printing tips
- Print with 2-3 walls of the nozzle width for a light, strong tray.
- Push the plug out from below through the drain hole with a pencil.
Helpful guides
Part of a project
- Start a windowsill garden: From seed to pot: a tray to start in, labels to remember what is what, and watering that looks after itself.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the seedlings out?
Push the plug out from below through the drain hole, for example with a pencil. The tapered cells let it slide out in one piece.
Does it need supports?
No. The cells are joined at the rim and print without supports. 2 or 3 walls make a light but strong tray.
