About this generator
A QR code you can hold: for the guest WiFi, a menu, your shop or a gift with a hidden message. The preview shows the real code.
How to use
- Paste the link or type the text.
- Set the code size. Longer texts need a bigger code.
- Add a caption and pick a keyring hole or a desk stand if you want one.
- Download the 3MF for two colors, or the STL and swap filament where the code starts.
Printing tips
- Print flat. Use a dark code on a light plate with strong contrast: black on white scans best.
- Matte filament scans better than silk or glossy.
- Each square of the code should be at least 0.8 mm wide (two nozzle lines). The generator stops below 0.6 mm.
- Scan the print with your phone before you hand it out.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a WiFi code?
Use this text: WIFI:T:WPA;S:your network name;P:your password;; and phones will offer to join the network.
The code does not scan. What can I do?
Check the contrast first: dark code, light plate, no glossy filament. Then make the code bigger or shorten the text so the squares get larger.
Can I print it in one color?
A code needs two colors to scan. With a one-color printer, download the STL and change filament at the height where the code starts.
Is my text sent anywhere?
The code is worked out as part of the model. It is not sent to a QR code service, and the code never expires because it holds the text itself.
