About this generator

Say something new every week. The board stays; the words change.

How to use

  1. Set the size of the board and print it.
  2. Type the letters you need and print them: they come as a sheet of loose letters.
  3. Press the letters into the grooves. Print more letters whenever you run out.

Printing tips

  • The board prints flat, grooves up. The letters print face down with their fin up. No supports.
  • A dark board with white letters is the classic look.
  • Keep the letter height at least 2 mm under the row spacing, so lines do not touch.
  • Tall thin fonts such as Bebas Neue give the most words per line.

Frequently asked questions

Each has a fin on its back that grips the groove. Adjust Letter fit if they are loose or tight.

How many letters do I need?

For general use, print the alphabet twice, with four extra of E, A, O, S, T and N, plus numbers.
