Does it need drainage holes?
For most plants, yes: standing water rots the roots. Keep the holes and the saucer on. Turn the holes off only for a cover pot with a nursery pot inside.
Which filament should I use?
PLA is fine indoors. Use PETG for pots that stay wet or stand outside.
