About this generator

Never mix up your basil and your mint again. Type the plant name and print a stake for every pot.

How to use

  1. Type the plant name and an optional second line (variety, sowing date…).
  2. Adjust the label and stake size.
  3. Print a whole batch: one per plant.

Printing tips

  • PETG or ASA last longer outside than PLA.
  • Print flat. The pointed stake needs no supports.

Helpful guides

Part of a project

  • Start a windowsill garden: From seed to pot: a tray to start in, labels to remember what is what, and watering that looks after itself.

Frequently asked questions

How deep does the stake go?

Set the stake length to the depth you want plus a few centimeters above the soil.

Which filament lasts outside?

PETG or ASA. PLA gets brittle and fades in the sun.
