About this generator

An unused cable hole in a desk, a drilled hole in the wrong place, an opening in an enclosure: measure it and close it.

How to use

  1. Measure the hole and the thickness of the panel.
  2. Pick snap-in for a through hole, push-in for a blind hole or thick wood.
  3. Print it head down and press it in.

Printing tips

  • Prints head down, without supports.
  • PETG legs spring better than PLA and survive being taken out again.
  • For a tight hole, raise Fit a little. For a loose one, set it to 0.

Frequently asked questions

The plug falls out. What should I change?

Check the panel thickness first: the barb must sit just behind the panel. Then lower Fit.

Can I print it in the color of my furniture?

Yes. It is one part, so any filament works: white, black and wood tones are the usual choices.
