About this generator

Two names, or two words, in one object. Look from the front and you read the first word; turn it a quarter and you read the second.

How to use

  1. Type two words with the same number of letters.
  2. Pick a bold font and set the letter height.
  3. Check both words in the preview by turning the model a quarter turn.

Printing tips

  • Print standing on the base.
  • Some letter pairs make overhangs or small loose parts (for example where one letter has a hole and the other does not). Turn on supports if the preview shows parts hanging in the air.
  • Capital letters and digits work best.

Frequently asked questions

Why do both words need the same length?

Each block combines one letter of the first word with one letter of the second. Pad the shorter word, or use a shorter form of the longer one.

Some letters look odd from an angle. Is that right?

Yes. Each block only looks like a letter from straight in front and straight from the side. From other angles it is a mix of both.
