About this generator

A name sign with presence: one big letter, and the whole name flowing across it.

How to use

  1. Type the initial and the name.
  2. Pick a bold font for the initial and a script font for the name.
  3. Move and size the name until it sits well on the letter.
  4. Download the 3MF for two colors, or the STL and change filament where the name starts.

Printing tips

  • Print flat, name up. No supports.
  • Change filament at the height of the base (4 mm by default) for a two-color sign on a one-color printer.
  • Keyholes need a thickness of at least 5 mm.

Frequently asked questions

How big can it be?

The initial can be up to 250 mm tall. The name may reach past it, so check the size next to the preview against your bed.

Parts of the name hang outside the initial. Will that print?

Yes. The name sits on its own outline, which is part of the base, so nothing floats.
