About this generator

Pull wire straight off the spool instead of from a tangled bag. Add spools by sliding them onto the rod.

How to use

  1. Set the largest spool diameter and the rod size.
  2. Print the two brackets flat.
  3. Screw them to the bench as far apart as the rod is long, slide the spools onto the rod and snap it into the cradles.

Printing tips

  • PETG or PLA with 4 walls.
  • A threaded rod with nuts against the brackets stops the spools from sliding sideways.
