About this generator

For the kitchen rail, the closet rod, the tent or the balcony: a hook with exactly the openings you need.

How to use

  1. Measure the rail and the thing you want to hang.
  2. Set the two openings and the length of the middle.
  3. Print it flat.

Printing tips

  • Print flat, as shown: the layers then run along the hook. Never print it standing up.
  • PETG for outdoors and for heavier things. Use 4 walls.
  • Make the hook thicker and wider for more strength: 8 x 12 mm holds a heavy bag.

Frequently asked questions

How much can it hold?

A 6 x 10 mm PETG hook holds a few kilos. Go thicker and wider for more, and test it before trusting it.

What is the lip for?

It narrows the mouth of the top hook a little, so the hook does not jump off the rail when you take something off.
