About this generator
A carved pumpkin that lasts for years: put it over an LED tealight and the face lights up. Use LED tealights only. A real candle can soften or ignite a printed lantern.
How to use
- Pick the size, the shape and the face.
- Print the body and the lid, both standing as they come out of the generator.
- Put the lantern over an LED tealight and set the lid on top.
Printing tips
- Orange PLA or PETG with 2 walls. No supports: the body stops where the curve would overhang too much, and the lid closes the top.
- Translucent or silk orange lets more light through.
- The stem is a separate color in the 3MF; with one extruder, change filament at the top of the lid.

Frequently asked questions
Does a real candle work?
No. Use an LED tealight: a candle flame can soften, deform or ignite the plastic.
Why is the top open?
So the body prints without supports. The lid sits in a collar at the top and closes it.
Will an LED tealight fit?
Check the opening against your LED tealight before printing: clearance depends on the diameter, shape and wall thickness. Increase the lantern size if needed. Use LED tealights only, never a real candle.
