About this generator
Make a personalized keychain for your keys, bag or as a gift. Type the text, pick a font and the generator sizes the letters to fit automatically. Swap filament at the text layer for a two-color print, or use engraved letters for a flush finish.
How to use
- Type the text you want on your keychain.
- Pick a font and choose raised or engraved letters.
- Adjust length, width and thickness. The text resizes automatically.
- Click Generate STL, download the file and slice it as usual.
Printing tips
- Print flat on the bed with the text facing up. No supports are needed.
- For AMS / multi-material printers, download the 3MF: base and text arrive as separate parts with their own filament slot.
- For two colors, add a filament change at the layer where the text begins (the base thickness).
- 0.2 mm layers work well. Use 0.12 mm for small script fonts.
- PLA and PETG both work. PETG is more durable for keys that see daily use.

Frequently asked questions
Can I print the text in a different color?
Yes. Pick the colors, choose 3MF and generate. The 3MF contains the base and the text as separate parts, each assigned to its own filament slot, so Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer open it ready for an AMS print. With a single extruder, use the STL and add a filament change at the height of the base thickness.
How strong is the key ring hole?
The hole always keeps at least 2 mm of material around it. For heavy key bunches use a thickness of 4 mm or more.
Which characters can I use?
Letters, numbers, punctuation and symbols supported by the selected font, up to 16 characters.
