About this generator

Hole saws in a drawer roll around and their teeth dull each other. Here each one sits on its own labeled post.

How to use

  1. List the sizes of your saws.
  2. Set the maximum width to fit your bed or shelf.
  3. Print flat and put each saw cup-down over its post.

Printing tips

  • PLA is fine; the posts carry little load.
  • Print the labels in a second color with a filament change at the label layer.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I enter?

The outside diameter of the saw, as printed on it (for example 32 mm). The post is made 4 mm smaller so the saw slides over it.

Can I store the arbor too?

Not on a post. Add its shank size as a saw and it gets a short post to stand on.
