About this generator
Gridfinity is a modular storage system with a 42 mm grid. Choose the grid size and height, add compartments, and print a bin that fits any Gridfinity baseplate.
How to use
- Set the size in grid units (1 unit = 42 mm).
- Choose the height in 7 mm units.
- Add compartments, a label shelf, a scoop or magnet holes.
- Download and print with no supports.
Printing tips
- Print without supports: every overhang is 45° or less.
- Magnet holes fit 6×2 mm magnets.
- 0.2 mm layers and 2 walls are plenty for most bins.

Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with other Gridfinity parts?
Yes. It uses the standard 42 mm pitch, 7 mm height units and the stepped base profile, so it fits standard baseplates.
How tall is a bin?
Each height unit is 7 mm. A 6-unit bin is about 42 mm tall, plus the stacking lip.
