About this generator

Measure your drawer, divide by 42 mm and print a baseplate. Padding fills the leftover gap so it can't slide around.

How to use

  1. Measure the drawer: each grid unit is 42 mm.
  2. Add padding for the remaining gap.
  3. Print one or several baseplates side by side.

Printing tips

  • Without magnets the baseplate is a light skeleton that prints fast.
  • Split big drawers into several plates that fit your bed.

Part of a project

  • Sort a messy drawer: Measure the drawer once, then fill it with dividers, trays and bins that fit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fill a drawer exactly?

Grid units × 42 mm plus the padding should equal the drawer size minus about 1 mm.

My drawer is bigger than my print bed.

Print several smaller baseplates and lay them side by side. Fill the leftover gap with the Drawer Filler.
