About this generator

Every socket gets its own post, in order, so you see at once which one is missing.

How to use

  1. Pick the drive size.
  2. List the outside diameter of each socket, in the order you want them.
  3. Print and drop the bin in your baseplate.

Printing tips

  • Print without supports.
  • If sockets are loose on the posts, a little tape on the post helps; most sockets hold by their own detent.

Frequently asked questions

Does it fit other Gridfinity parts?

Yes. It uses the standard 42 mm grid and base, so it fits any Gridfinity baseplate.

Why the outside diameter?

It sets the spacing: big sockets get more room. The drive posts are the same for all sockets of one drive size.
