About this generator

One tool for the coffee jar: measure a dose, then level and tamp it in the basket.

How to use

  1. Set the volume and the tamper diameter for your basket.
  2. Print as exported, with the tamper face on the bed.
  3. Wash by hand.

Printing tips

  • PETG from a brand that sells it as food safe.
  • A printed tamper is for light tamping: use a metal tamper for espresso at full pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Which tamper size do I need?

About 0.5–1 mm smaller than the inside of your filter basket. Common baskets are 51, 53 and 58 mm.

Is it food safe?

Printed parts have small grooves. Use food-safe PETG, keep it for dry coffee and wash it by hand.
