About this generator
A short ruler for the pencil case, a long one for the workbench, or one with a child's name on it.
How to use
- Pick the units and the length.
- Add a name.
- Download the 3MF for dark marks on a light ruler, or the STL and change filament where the marks start.
Printing tips
- Print flat, marks up. No supports.
- Check it against a steel rule. If it is off, scale it in the slicer along its length: 100.3 % if 100 mm measures 99.7.
- Dark marks on a light ruler read best.

How accurate is it?
As accurate as your printer, usually within half a millimetre over 15 cm. Good for crafts and school, not for machining.
Can it be longer than my printer bed?
No. Rotate it diagonally on the bed for a few extra centimetres.
