About this generator
A name that lights up. Stick an LED strip along the inside wall, press the front on and plug it in.
How to use
- Type the name and pick a round, bold font.
- Set the letter height and the border.
- Print the box and the front. Stick a 5 V or 12 V LED strip along the inside wall and lead the cable out through the notch.
- Press the front into the box.
Printing tips
- Print both parts as laid out: the front lies face down. No supports.
- Print the front in white or natural filament so the light comes through. The box can be any dark color.
- With one color, the letters still show as darker shapes when the light is on.
- Use a USB LED strip. Do not use mains voltage inside a printed box.

Which LED strip fits?
Any 8 to 10 mm wide strip. It bends along the inside of the wall, so a wider border makes the bends gentler.
The front is loose or too tight. What should I change?
Change Fit clearance (under Advanced) by 0.05 mm and reprint only the front.
Why is the name mirrored on the front in the preview?
The front prints face down. Once you flip it onto the box, the name reads normally.
